The Avalon Newcastle project includes multiple buildings in a phased development.  Served as contract building official and plans examiner for the city of Newcastle for review and construction management of this project.  Building 5A is a 77,000 s.f., 5 story mixed-use building with 60 apartments on 4 levels above a ground level of shell commercial space and residential lobby with covered parking for 12 vehicles.  The Block 5 development also includes four additional townhouse buildings. Plumbing and mechanical reviews were subcontracted out to Rainbow Consulting and the concrete portion of the structure was subcontracted to Reid Middleton.  A limited electrical review was provided by our contract employee to verify compliance with city-adopted electrical provisions.
