Provided a complete code evaluation for Schreiber Starling & Lane Architects for this 3-story educational facility with classrooms, administrative support, and assembly uses. The 70,000 s.f. building serves as the center for student services on the Skagit Valley College campus. It accommodates a significant occupant load of over 1,800 distributed over all floor levels and incorporates a 3-story atrium in the design which required a detailed study for code compliance. Code support was provided to the architect beginning with design development and assisting throughout all stages of design.
