Worked with Bernardo-Wills Architects during the design process to manage the code study for this 37,000 s.f., single-story, 59’-tall aircraft paint hangar located at the Spokane International Airport. This project included factory, hazardous, and storage occupancies. Our evaluation included a hazardous materials evaluation and building study to incorporate needed code requirements into the structure of the building. This building provided two control areas, a liquid-tight containment area, an automatic leakage alarm, explosion venting, a spray booth, a spray room, an emergency alarm system, an automatic fire-extinguishing system, and an emergency power system.
