Provided complete structural, nonstructural, accessibility, and energy code reviews for this $1.3 million 3-story commercial retail building. Structural review was subcontracted out to Quantum Consulting Engineers. This concrete structure included over 16,000 s.f. of area and incorporated two levels of retail over covered parking. The complex structural design, which incorporated masonry and concrete shear walls, steel framing, and augercast piles at the shear wall footings, was performed by our structural subconsultant, Quantum Engineers. This complex building incorporated a code alternate for the exit enclosure layout that was specifically approved by the city of Bellevue.
